Institute for the Development of Public International Law

The Institute for the Development of Public International Law was born as an initiative of several academics with the aim of collaborating and contributing to its evolution, as well as promoting the principles on which the International System is based, which constitute guarantees for the sustaining peace in the world. 

From this point of view, the Institute has a commitment that it tries to fulfill through the activities carried out, such as conferences, workshops, academic publications or a simple opinion on what happened in Public International Law, being, for this purpose, Relevant subjects to achieve the proposed purpose, the study of Public International Law, International Human Rights Law, International Humanitarian Law, Transitional Justice, International Environmental Law, International Economic Law and International Criminal Law.

Therefore, this space, in turn, constitutes a tool where you will find International Treaties both from the United Nations Organization System, as well as at the continental or regional levels, such as the Organization of American States (OAS). , the Council of Europe, the European Union, the African Union, the Andean Community, MERCOSUR, the Arab League, among others. In the same way, the database includes the Resolutions of the Security Council of the United Nations, the General Assembly of the United Nations and the Resolutions of the Economic and Social Council also of the United Nations. There are also the judgments and main constituent documents of the International Court of Justice, the Permanent Court of International Justice, the International Criminal Court, the Ad Hoc International Criminal Court, among others. The Institute for the Development of Public International Law will gradually update this database and add other segments concerning Public International Law as necessary to facilitate the viability of the study of Public International Law.
