The Special Court for Cambodia is a court formed in 2006 by the Kingdom of Cambodia and the United Nations (UN), in order to prosecute and try those responsible for the genocide carried out by the Khmer Rouge led by Pol Pot in Democratic Kampuchea between 1975-1979.
